Objective To systematically review the qualitative research on the disease experience of patients with prostate cancer, and to provide references for improving the mental health of this population and establishing a support system. Methods The databases of PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane,Embase,Cochrane Library,CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,CBM were retrieved on qualitative research about the disease experience of prostate cancer patients. The retrieval period is from the establishment of the database to April 2021. The quality of the literature was evaluated by JBI Critical Appraisal Tool for qualitative studies. Results A total of 13 studies were included, and 50 clear study results were extracted. Similar study results were summarized into 8 new categories, and 3 integrated results were synthesized:self-perception changes in symptomatic prostate cancer patients accompanied by regression, leading to impaired male self-esteem and alienation in the intimate relationship of couples;differences in coping strategies among patients with different emotional experiences, which are manifested as avoidance of surrender and post-traumatic growth;patients have unmet needs in multiple dimensions, such as poor doctor-patient communication, lack of peer support, and low social attention, and they strive to seek relevant support. Conclusion Prostate cancer patients have many aspects of disease experience in the whole disease process. Healthcare professionals tend to ignore patients’ feelings and experiences, and should pay attention to and evaluate patients’ psychological feelings from multiple perspectives in the future. They should also provide comprehensive physical and mental care from the perspective of positive psychology to improve social support and improve their quality of life.

Objective To develop a social resource support scale of pregnant women with gestational diabetes and to test its reliability and validity. Methods Based on the social-ecological model, the initial scale was formed through literature analysis,open-model expert consultation, and 2 rounds of the Delphi method. The convenience sampling was adopted to select 301 pregnant women with gestational diabetes from January to August 2021 in 3 hospitals in Fujian Province of China. The items screening and the test of reliability and validity were carried out. Results The scale includes 7 dimensions,38 items, and 7 additional evaluation items of various dimensional importance, which come to 45 items in total. The positive coefficients of 2 rounds of letter consultations were 100% and 85.71%;the authority coefficient were all 0.879;the coordination coefficients were 0.218 and 0.298. The Cronbach’s α coefficient was 0.935;the test-retest reliability was 0.724;the content validity was 0.970. The exploratory factor analysis identified 7 principal factors, and the accumulative contribution of variance was 63.210%. Conclusion The social resource support scale of pregnant women with gestational diabetes has good reliability and validity. It can be used as a tool for medical staff to evaluate the social support of pregnant women with gestational diabetes.

Chinese Journal of Nursing    2021, 56 (9): 1318-1324.   DOI: 10.3761/j.issn.0254-1769.2021.09.006

Objective To develop the questionnaire of nursing support needs of women with epidural analgesia during labor, and to test its reliability and validity. Methods Based on Maslow’s theory of hierarchical needs and Lazarus’s stress and coping model, using literature review and semi-structured interviews, the pre-trial questionnaire item pool of nursing support needs for women with epidural analgesia during labor was preliminarily formed, and the questionnaire was adjusted and revised through pre-survey.Using the convenience sampling method, 205 women who gave birth in a tertiary hospital in Fujian Province from September to October 2019 were selected. The data was analyzed to determine the reliability and validity of the questionnaire. 375 women from November to December 2019 were selected for confirmatory factor analysis to further test the factor structure of the questionnaire. Results The questionnaire of nursing support needs for women with epidural analgesia during labor was formed, which included 4 dimensions, namely physiological comfort needs, emotional support needs, information support needs and technical support needs, with 32 items in total. 4 common factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 63.224%. The averaging calculation of content validity index of the questionnaire was 0.969, and the content validity index of items range from 0.833 to 1.000. The total Cronbach’s α coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.917, and the total test-retest reliability coefficient was 0.821. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fits well, indicating that the factor structure of the questionnaire was stable. Conclusion The questionnaire had good reliability and validity, which can guide the medical staff to accurately evaluate the needs of women with epidural analgesia during labor, and provide the basis for them to develop personalized nursing plan, so as to improve their delivery experience.

Objective To evaluate the application and effects of a modified version of early cardiac rehabilitation program in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction treated by Percutaneous Coronary Intervention(PCI).Methods Totally 112 patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction undergoing PCI enrolled in Coronary Care Unit(CCU) were randomized into a control group and an experimental group with 56 cases in each group. The experimental group was given a modified version of the early cardiac rehabilitation program, while the control group received routine exercise training. The Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),the length of hospital stay and the incidence of adverse events were compared in both groups before the intervention and at 7th day after the intervention, and the satisfaction of patients was investigated through interviews. Results After a week of interventions, results of ADL and LVEF in the experimental group was significantly higher than those in the control group. The length of hospital stay in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group. The differences of 3 statistical results were statistically significant(P<0.01). No adverse events occurred in both groups. Participants in the experimental group claimed that the modified rehabilitation program could be used to help them recover their self-care ability and rebuild their confidence to return to life according to patients own conditions as soon as possible, and all of them could cooperate actively. Conclusion The modified version of the early cardiac rehabilitation program is safe and effective that can be used to accelerate the rehabilitation of patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI,increase LVEF,improve the daily self-care ability of patients, shorten the length of hospitalization, and improve the quality of life of patients.

Objective To explore the characteristics and causes of dietary behavior changes in women with gestational diabetes. Methods Purposive sampling method was used to select pregnant women with gestational diabetes from July to August 2018 in one obstetric clinic of a tertiary hospital in Putian for semi-structured interviews. Golaizzi’s analysis method was used to transcribing interviews, constantly compare and summarize data and generate themes. Results Four themes emerged include lack of knowledge and cognition about the disease, active control and passive eating emotions and attitudes, active coordination and passive coping with eating behavior, and multiple influencing factors of dietary behavior changes. Conclusion In the process of adapting to diabetic diet, pregnant women with gestational diabetes have positive or negative emotional attitudes and behaviors, which are influenced by many factors.
